The approval process will vary depending on if the land requires re-zoning or annexation. Re-zoning is a longer process that requires Planning Commission approval, and 2 City Council Readings. Some of these developments only require Planning Commission Approval or Board of Zoning Approval with no public notice.

Development is good for every City. However, Cohesive and harmonious development that fits the character of the town is good development. A development may be good, but it may need public input to make it great and flow with its surroundings. Imagine if it was in your backyard would you want what is being proposed?
